We are delighted to announce the winner for service of the month which goes to Ashlee Lodge. We received two nominations for service of the month including one from an external health professional. They have been recognised for ensuring that positive behaviour support is embedded in the service, and quality of life for the individuals they support is at the center of the work they are doing jointly and taking on all the recommendations and working jointly to provide the best outcomes for the people they support. Well done Terry and the team.
Team supported each other in a difficult three months. Staff put together a buffet for coronation of the king which was well received by service users and staff
We are delighted to announce that the service of the month is Ashlong House. It is very heartwarming to hear from a service user who took the time to nominate the service. He explains that the current team has maintained his health and go beyond their duties helping him get extra money and money for essentials and many many other things. He and his family will always be grateful to the staff at Ashlong House
We would like to congratulate Ashchurch for winning service of the month for March. Staff supported the service users to celebrate their birthdays (6 in March), making their days lovely, even though the situation in the service was difficult with 8 staff and 2 residents in isolation. All staff worked as a team, night staff assisted with the morning medication round (extending sometimes their shift. Well done to the Ashchurch staff.
Ashcott House won service of the month for February 2023. The team have gone above and beyond by their rota’d hours and take on additional training (aids) to prevent the person from having his end of life care in hospital/hospice as it was apparent he was deeply distressed by conversations about leaving his home.
