Ashdene House is a Residential Care Home for adults with Learning and Physical Disabilities. It is registered for 18 individuals; male and female between the ages of 18 to 65; who require 24-hour care and support. Ashdene House does not provide nursing care, respite or emergency admissions.
Ashdene House is a large semi-detached property with a small detached cottage at the rear, it is set in the seaside town of Ramsgate in Kent. The home is registered with Kent County Council as a preferred provider and with CQC as a residential home for the purpose of providing care to twelve adults in the main house and 3 adults in the cottage with a learning disability and associated needs. The home is part of Allied Care Ltd and associated companies, which is a large up-and-coming company that caters to supplying high-quality ‘person-centred’ care to each individual. Ashdene House was taken over in 1997 by Allied Care who invested in adapting the home to cater for a client group who required support with their physical health as well as having their mental and emotional health needs met.
Ashdene House aims to provide a homely environment that enables each person to reach their own individual maximum potential, at a pace and level that is appropriate for each individual’s ability and needs.
