We provide 24-hour support 365 days a year.
Ashurst house is a Residential Care Home for adults with Learning disabilities & associated conditions. The house is registered for 8 individuals; male and female between the ages of 18 to 65; who require 24-hour care and support.
Ashurst House is situated in the heart of Faversham, approximately 5 minutes’ drive from the M2. Located very close to Faversham’s town centre providing easy access to all local amenities, leisure facilities and transport services. The train station enables links to Canterbury, Dover, London and beyond. Ashurst House is a large detached house. Ashurst House has been fully refurbished to provide a high-quality residential environment, the physical environment has been adapted to accommodate service users who have physical disabilities. There are eight bedrooms for single-use, all with either a WC or en-suite facilities, four bedrooms are on the ground floor and four bedrooms are on the first floor which is accessible via a stairlift. Each room has its own toilet with three of the bedrooms having full ensuites. There is a stairlift making the first floor accessible. There is a kitchen on the ground floor, thus enabling service users to participate in everyday life patterns. Ample communal and private space is available at Ashurst House.
Ashurst House aims to provide a homely environment that enables each person to reach their own individual maximum potential, at a pace and level that is appropriate for each individual’s ability and needs.
