Cameron Lodge provides opportunities for each individual to live their lives as they choose. The service encourages and promotes independence and decision-making and choice, using a person-centred approach that is individual to each service user, according to the resident’s needs and wishes. And dependent on the specific needs and communication requirements of each individual.
Cameron Lodge is situated in the historic town of Deal in Kent and is close to Deal’s town centre and seafront which is within walking distance. Other towns such as Margate and Dover are a short drive. Cameron Lodge consists of three units all of which stand within their own grounds. There is a main house which can house 6 individuals and two separate bungalows that is home to 3 individuals in each with a large garden around all three units.
Our aim is to provide the appropriate level of support for each individual to achieve their potential and develop personal and social skills. We recognise that every prospective service user should have the opportunity to choose a home that suits their needs and abilities. To facilitate that choice and to ensure that our service users know what our service offers to promote independence and to treat each service user as an individual.
