Lingfield House is registered to provide the regulated activity of personal care for adults with learning disabilities within the accommodation. Existing and or new service users may also present with past or present mental health disorders requiring care, treatment or support.

Lingfield House is a six-bedroom house about 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Four bedrooms are situated upstairs, one of each has an en-suite, and two on the ground floor one is en-suite and the other has a shower room. Each service user’s bedroom has been individually personalised with their own possessions, creating personal space and ensuring privacy. All bedrooms have washbasins. The room meets the pre-existing requirements of the National Minimum Standards 2002.

The house has a reasonably sized bathroom upstairs and toilet downstairs. There is a large lounge and combined dining room with patio doors that lead to the garden. There is also a kitchen, laundry facilities, and staff office. The house has a large cellar which is used for COSHH and related storage. The garden is secluded with access from the house to the lounge and kitchen. Threes provide privacy for residents and neighbours. The house has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. This is maintained with an ongoing maintenance plan. This plan includes service users’ rooms. Service users are consulted on the interior decor, and changes in the environment or facilities, and provided with the choice to reflect their preferences.
