Ashstead is a registered care home with 10 beds and currently has 8 lovely people residing with us who have Learning disabilities and associated mental health conditions, who receive support from our friendly kind staff team, we would love you to join the team.
The staff team are an established team all bringing their own qualities and ideas to enhance the service.
Responsibilities and Duties
The role is to support and assist the Home Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home, assessing staff performance and the quality of the care delivered. Guiding and inspiring team members to make a positive difference to service users' lives and ensuring that dignity, respect, and inclusion is at the centre of practice.
The Assistant Manager must be able to demonstrate the competency requirements of a Band 3 Adult Care Worker with a minimum of an NVQ/QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care and be prepared to act on behalf of the Registered Manager in their absence and be willing to study towards a level 4/5 Diploma.
This position is full-time (37.5 hrs) and involves working on a rota pattern including some weekends and wake nights, with some office hours included.
An enhanced DBS is a requirement of the position.'
