Ashgrange House has won service of the month award because the staff are always eager to go above and beyond.

Theservice is always a hub of activity and there is always an event planned. Be ita trip out, an outing to the golf drive, a musical, or a local activity, staff continue to think outside the box. Staff also offer in-house activities that range from cooking classes to arts and crafts.

Birthdays are always celebrated and just recently the manager arranged for her partner tomake special cake for a service user who didn't have any money so from her ownmoney she bought him a small gift and presented him with an amazing cake aswell.

Thestaff's approach to sustainability is outstanding and last month the employee of the month award was given to Kelly for her contribution to sustainability and she was absolutely over the moon with her award.

Morerecently, 2 staff members (Ricardo and Kelly) have put together a Housenewsletter and have worked with all service users and staff to produce anoutstanding piece of work. It must be said that the manager runs a very tightship and the respect and dedication that she shows her staff is reflected inthe commitment staff give to the service. This teams goes above and beyond inproviding outstanding care to the people who live at Ashgrange.
